New staff members

Ravensby Glass are going from strength to strength with four new staff appointments:

chelci

Chelci Aitchison was appointed Logistics Co-Ordinator last Summer in what was a new position within the company driven by the extensive transport and logistical challenges from supplying commercial glass products throughout the UK. With having close on 10 years logistical experience out with the glass industry Chelci has brought many planning skills to the business and adapted them to what is a complex product to organise loading and delivery of. Now approaching her first full year with the company Chelci has successfully developed close links with our customers and identifies many of our customers individual delivery “quirks” whilst organising on time and complete deliveries.

pamela

Pamela Fletcher joined the company at the end of 2015 as our Stock Controller. As the second factory at Tom Johnston Road expanded the demands of accounting for the material stock became a full time demanding role and fortunately she has stepped into the position, met it head on and now successfully administers all the stock accounts. Pamela works within our Tom Johnston offices and whilst her primary role is stock control she can adapt to cover many of her colleagues roles within that office. Pamela has been an excellent addition to the Ravensby team.

amy

Amy Judge joined our team in April this year as our Marketing and Sales Executive. She recently graduated from Abertay University with a 2.1 Honours degree in Marketing and Business. Amy works within our Tom Johnston Road offices and has developed a competent and thorough marketing plan which she is currently implementing. Amy has plans to assist customers in the coming months through our Website, Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin, with regular updates of products and services available to our customers, some that the market may not be aware we process in house.

shane

Shane Mcintosh our Transport and Logistics Assistant joined the company in May this year to assist Chelci in our expanding transport department. Shane has initially taken on the role of load and route planning  for our Scottish customer deliveries and assisting with many of the day to day delivery queries that arise. He has come from a logistical background through working with one of Scotland’s primary haulage businesses therefore his route planning skills are well up to speed! Shane is a welcome addition to our team, specifically by Chelci, who has now been afforded more time to look after the maintenance of our extensive truck fleet.
